I am here by the names of ALPHATHE UWASE Marie Juventine my Chinese name is Li Xiao hua(李晓华) am the student of university of Rwanda College of Science and Technology, School of ICT in Department of Information system level 3, am also Confucius Institute student at UR_CST.
In December 2017 that where my journey of learning Chinese language was about to start. By the time I started studying in University of Rwanda that where I heard good news that I can learn Chinese while am studying my course it was a great pleasure to me because I liked Chinese language, Chinese cultural and Chinese movie since I was young, really I was happy to hear that news.
After getting that news I immediately run fast to the office to register so that I can start learning Chinese on time, my first class was so cool even if I found that Chinese language was not easy because it was my first time to learn Chinese language, SU WEN was my first teacher he was so amazing and kind he was the one who helped me in my Chinese language journey, he helped students to learn Chinese language by motivating them he showed us the way you can learn Chinese easily he told us that in order to succeed we have to work hard also I motivated by the quote that say “try and fail but never fail to try”for that reason I worked hard by striking to be the best.
In march 2018 I did HSK 2 exam to check my Chinese language standard after that I continue to learn it by working hard even if it was not easy to combine university course and Chinese language my goals was to strike to be the best.
In August 2018 I got a chance to attend AFRICA -CHINA SUMMER CAMP in China it was another great pleasure to me because it was my first time to cross border of RWANDA especially to hear that am just going to travel in china it was so amazing , in China I experienced many thing like Chinese hot pot(中国火锅) Chinese tea(中国茶), I climbed Chinese great wall (中国长城) also I visited some tourist place their in China all that impressed me a lot and make me like China more than before. After that I continue to learn Chinese. In December 2019 I passed hsk4 exam also to check my level also I plan to seat for HSK5 and HSKK exam so that I want to continue to improve my Chinese language level.

Really Chinese language is one of the most important language around the world it is really useful also it help to gain maturity and discipline I would like to tell everyone that no loss in learning Chinese once you learn Chinese language you will be one of important person around the world the wise says” a journey of thousand miles begins at one’s feet” (千里之行，始于足下) and “successful and unsuccessfully people do not vary greatly in their abilities they vary in their desire to reach their potential” (成功者与失败者唯实现理想之欲望异而能力同也。) I would like to thank all my teachers especial Su laoshi and Ma laoshi who shaping me into the student I am today I came into your class with knowing nothing but now I know something thank you for all your great lessons I feel so fortunate to have been placed in your class you have amazed and inspired me daily and for that I am thankful because you are truly a wonderful teacher.
